Top Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Sweden, Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top maps and navigation apps on the Android platform in Sweden showed varied trends across downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride consistently maintained its popularity throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads gradually increased, starting at approximately 3.4K in early April and peaking at 4.7K by the end of June. The app also saw a steady rise in weekly active users, growing from around 101K to 112K during the same period.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a similar upward trend. Weekly downloads began at 3.1K and reached about 4.7K by the end of the quarter. Its active user base also expanded, starting at 60K and rising to 77K.

OKQ8 saw fluctuations in weekly downloads, with numbers starting at 3.3K, dipping mid-quarter, and then climbing back to 3.8K by late June. Active users mirrored this pattern, with a slight decrease from 24K to 19K.

Västtrafik To Go demonstrated a notable increase in downloads, starting at 1.6K and peaking at 4K. The app’s active users fluctuated around 178K, peaking at 202K mid-quarter, before settling at 171K.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 1.7K weekly. Active users showed growth from 33K to 47K by the end of June.
